T-Flag Wire Label | Durable PET T-Style Cable Identification TagsUse the Right Label Type
Avoid flat stickers. They peel and block access.
Best options:
Self-laminating wrap labels (best choice)
Slim cable flags (for very tight spaces)
These keep text readable and don’t add bulk.
Label Before Final Termination
Whenever possible
Print and apply labels before connecting wires
Leave a small service loop
This prevents twisting, overlap, and rework.
Keep Labels Short and Consistent
Messy panels usually mean too much text.
Good practice:
6–10 characters max
Use a clear system (e.g. L1, L2, N, G or CB01–CB12)
Same font size, same orientation
Place Labels Where They’re Easy to Read
1–2 cm from the terminal
Avoid bends and sharp corners
Align all labels in the same direction
Consistency = clean panel.
Seal the Print (Important)
In tight panels, heat and friction are common.
Wrap the clear laminate fully over the text
Press firmly to remove air bubble
This prevents fading and peeling.
Don’t Over-Label
One clear label per wire is enough.
If needed, add a panel legend instead of extra tags.
